NEUROBODY BREATHWORK®

NEUROBODY BREATHWORK

Neuro

Utilizing principles from hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming, Neuro dives into the power of language and thought patterns to help you uncover limiting beliefs and learn practical tools to shift them.

Body

The Body aspect shows how our body and mind are connected. It highlights what we feel in our bodies - like tension or relaxation - can affect how we think and feel emotionally.

Breathwork

Central to the technique, Breathwork emphasizes conscious control and manipulation of breathing patterns, supporting relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional release.

Neurobody Breathwork®

integrates neuro-linguistic programming, hypnosis, and somatic awareness to support belief transformation, emotional processing, and felt sense of safety in the body.

Components of

Neurobody Breathwork®

Hypnosis utilizes techniques to induce a relaxed state, where individuals are highly receptive to suggestions aimed at accessing and reprogramming the subconscious mind to achieve desired behavioral changes.

  • Induction: The method of leading someone into a relaxed and focused
    state of heightened suggestibility
  • Suggestions: Targeted statements of ideas given to help reprogram the subconscious mind for desired behavioral changes or emotional healing.
  • Metaphors: Symbolic language used within suggestions to effectively communicate with the subconscious mind.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach that examines the connections between our thoughts (neuro), language (linguistic), and behavior patterns (programming). It offers techniques to reframe and reprogram limiting beliefs to achieve specific goals and improve communication.

  • Sub-modalities: The specific qualities and characteristics of our sensory experiences, such as color, texture, and temperature, which can be manipulated to alter our perceptions and emotional responses.
  • Re-Framing: The process of changing the context or meaning of a situation to alter its emotional impact and our response to it.
  • Timeline Technique: Method used to visualize and reframe past, present, and future events to create positive changes in how we feel and act.
  • Future Pacing: Mentally rehearsing future scenarios to embed desired behaviors and outcomes.

Somatic Awareness is a practice of reconnecting with the body and tuning into its sensations, offering insight into what it's like to fully inhibit our bodies.

  • Embodiment: State of being safe, present, and connected to one’s physical body and sensations.
  • Pendulation: The process of gently moving between states of discomfort and safety to help the nervous system regulate and allow the body in releasing held stress.
  • Titration: The process of gradually introducing small amounts of challenging sensations or emotions to allow the nervous system to process and integrate difficult experiences without overwhelming the body or mind.

Breathwork encompasses various techniques and exercises focused on conscious control and manipulation of breathing patterns to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional release, while facilitating personal growth and transformation.

  • Up Regulating: Techniques or exercises that induce alertness and energy levels.
  • Down Regulating: Techniques or exercises that induce relaxation and calmness.
  • Sympathetic Nervous System: The branch of the autonomic nervous system responsible for activating the body's fight or flight response in times of stress or danger.
  • Parasympathetic Nervous System: The branch of the autonomic nervous system responsible for promoting rest and relaxation.

How is Neurobody Breathwork different than meditation?

How is Neurobody Breathwork different than meditation?

Neurobody Breathwork and meditation are both practices that involve mindful breathing techniques, but they have some key differences:

Focus and Intention

Meditation often aims to calm the mind, increase awareness, and foster inner peace. Neurobody Breathwork, however, focuses on specific breathing patterns to activate the nervous system, promote emotional release, and induce altered states of consciousness.

Active Participation

While meditation often involves passive observation, Neurobody Breathwork requires active participation in specific breathing exercises. These exercises, like rapid breathing or breath retention, facilitate physiological and psychological changes.

Emotional Release

Neurobody Breathwork emphasizes releasing suppressed emotions and traumas stored in the body through breathing patterns. This can lead to emotional releases, while meditation may not target emotional processing as explicitly.
